Features of Comarch Cloud Subscription Billing

Billing management

A basic feature of our platform, allowing businesses to rate, charge and bill for delivered services, ensuring revenue streams. Invoicing functionality, dunning and payment reconciliation complete the end to end scope of internal financial process.

The Billing module supports different billing cycles (daily/monthly/annually) and periodic fess (install/uninstall/service modification). It has the ability to perform manual and mass processing of invoices (generating, PDF printing), can be used for simple payments, and is open for integration with a general ledger solution.

Product Catalog

Allows preparation of different types of products and services. Configuration can be done via an extensive GUI or by a script configurable in the back office. Products with prices are offered to the customer through available sales channels. Offers can appear in the form of versions that differ from each other, in terms of occasional promotions and prices.

Client contracts in one place

Instead of storing contract-related information in different places, our platform allows you to perform all required contract-related operations within a single process. For instance, a customer contract is kept in a digitized version on their account.

For a more specific B2C scenario, an identity check can be performed directly if such verification is required in your country.

Webshop and Self-care

Webshop is one of the sales channels available in the package. The portal is designed for B2C and B2B customers. Dedicated access and customization of the view allows appropriate offers to be directed to selected customers or to all (individual or mass targeting). The system also gives the possibility of integrating  with the customer's existing shopping portal.

The other side of the portal is Self-care. The user can view current services, fees and notifications, make changes to subscriptions, add new services and select products, including an option to preview the costs of planned purchases before accepting them.

Third-party involvement and KPI analytics

In a complex business environment, different parties can be involved in a process. Typically, a third-party service can be required in order to complete a service delivery.

Our platform’s preconfigured business flows enable partners to validate their involvement, and to complete the whole process smoothly. Incorporated SLA management allows you to monitor and control the overall performance needed to meet contracted KPIs.

BPM Business Process Management

Transferring business behaviors to the system is done using configurable processes at the implementation stage.
The user is able to track individual tasks using the Business Process Module. The quick view option gives an immediate picture of the current state of the process.

API and Integration

The solution recognizes various types of integrations and standard types of interfaces that the system is able to work with through synchronous and asynchronous data exchange.

The system uses industry standards and an Open API approach ( REST, SOAP,  Apache Kafka, Rabbit MQ).
Typical integrations are with payment providers, external accounting systems or service provisioning, data warehouses, SSO, SMS/email , MNP, scoring systems and external dunning.

Frequently asked questions

How flexible is Comarch’s cloud billing solution?

Our solution is designed to standardize most business functions and processes, optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO). The premium version allows more flexibility and functionalities (see the functionalities list) and enables some customization.

Can we combine different features from the B2B and B2C packs?

Going beyond the standard configuration means choosing our premium version of the product.

Do essential B2B or B2C models disable offer creation for business/individual customers in the future?

These models guarantee fast deployment at the initial stage, allowing users to reduce the transition/business starting period. Afterwards, an upgrade to the premium version allows more customization.

How long does it take to set up?

The set-up period depends on the complexity of a given customer’s business, and a quality analysis phase. In the standard scenario, it should not exceed a period of six to eight weeks.

What set-up options are available?

In a standard approach, we offer 24/7 support and maintenance services. However, more limited options are available if required.

What are the different payment options?

We generally propose a monthly subscription fee with a minimum engagement period of one year. For longer contract periods, a more flexible pricing approach can be provided.

How scalable is Comarch Cloud Subscription Billing?

The essential packs are globally addressed to small and medium-sized companies (SME) with a limited customer base.

What cloud environment will be used?

Essential pack options will be hosted in the Comarch Cloud environment, on a secure, shared server.

How is security guaranteed on the shared server?

Through access and user permission management, network monitoring, SSL, firewalls, and DDoS prevention. Regular back-ups will be performed, and high availability and disaster recovery are guaranteed.

Is there a possibility of a trial period?

A trial period can be agreed, based on a specific usage rate.
