According to European Lung Foundation respiratory diseases are one of the most common causes of death in the world. Heart disease significantly affects the quality of life of patients. They limit their freedom of daily life, which also affects their carers. In advanced stages of disease, they cause disability and premature death. Forecasts predict an increase in the number of patients that will grow over the next decades. To improve the quality of life of patients with respiratory system diseases and to improve their safety, we offer remote care with the help of the Comarch HomeHealth 2.0 system.
Among the diseases that can be monitored with Comarch HomeHealth 2.0 are:
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the fourth leading cause of death worldwide, causing 3.5 million deaths in 2021, approximately 5% of all global deaths.
Nearly 90% of COPD deaths in those under 70 years of age occur in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC).
262 million – Asthma affected an estimated 262 million people in 2019
455 000 deaths caused by asthma in 2019
empowers care teams with a certified, remote monitoring solution to support patients with chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD, asthma, and post-COVID recovery. The system enables oversight of key pulmonary parameters, improves care plan adherence, and supports early intervention — all from the patient’s home.
Integrated kit components include:
The doctor orders remote monitoring of the patient outside the medical facility and adjusts its course. Sets a schedule of tasks, drug doses, personalizes the ranges of measurement standards, orders medical surveys and selects appropriate educational materials.
The patient performs tasks ordered by the doctor, which the application reminds him of every day. The results from the measuring devices are automatically sent to the application. All data collected from the patient are sent in real time to the Comarch e-Care 2.0 telemedicine platform, where they are automatically analyzed and monitored by the medical care team.
After the monitoring period, the doctor can generate a report from the service along with recommendations and make it available to the patient. The patient also has access to all of his historical results in the Comarch HomeHealth 2.0 application.
