Held under new name Digital Transformation World, the event organized by TM Forum will take place from 14-16 May 2018 in Nice, France.

For the second year in a row we are working on the BSS catalyst project championed by Orange. For 2018, our focus is on the part of customer journey when when a client wishes to leave, and how the service should work then to prevent this from happening. Our entire project team will be involved in a presentation about how this issue was addressed.

The telecommunications sector is undergoing tremendous transformations, with the increasing deployment of concepts and solutions such as IoT, machine learning and AI. The whole industry is preparing for the long-awaited 5G, adopting ever more comprehensive solutions to get network management processes ready for the new standards. What is also changing is the approach towards open source solutions developed in collaboration with telco operators and vendors affiliated in ventures such as ONAP.

The way end-customers use telecommunication devices is also changing rapidly, and there is a pressing need for telcos to adjust to those customers’ expectations. This is where the need to deploy a mobile-first approach and zero-touch automation becomes apparent.
