Comarch deploys a mobile insurance solution with BRE Ubezpieczenia
Polish insurance company BRE Ubezpieczenia has recently launched a new sales and customer care service with Comarch. For insurance providers the rapidly evolving market of innovative mobile devices offers a new channel for communicating with their customers.
Constant growth in the number of smartphone and tablet users raise demands for anytime and anywhere availability of services. Comarch supports BRE Ubezpieczenia in enabling customers to purchase insurance through their mobile device, independently of time and location.
- We always try to quickly reply to the increasing demands of our customers who more and more willingly use smartphones and tablets. Therefore, we decided to create an application that allows customers to purchase insurance through their iPhone or iPad. This is the first time when such a service is available on the Polish market. The same application provides access to car and travel assistance services - says Paweł Zylm, CEO at BRE Ubezpieczenia.
- The system bases on Comarch's experience in the insurance industry. Our company offers a wide range of IT solutions for insurers – from core systems, through dedicated sales management and claim adjustment systems, to data center and comprehensive IT services. We offer a modern insurance sales and service portal and extending it with a mobile solution was a natural consequence – says Mariusz Janczewski, Business Development Manager at Comarch.
- Implementation for BRE Ubezpieczenia perfectly shows the new trend of products and services entering the mobile platforms. Having been engaged in the development of mobile operating systems for the past 10 years, we place great emphasis on the ergonomic and intuitive user interface. We are pleased to provide our customers with our mobile domain expertise combined with modern technology - says Mariusz Lasek, Business Development Director at Comarch.
Application created by Comarch and BRE Ubezpieczenia allows users to carry out operations such as purchasing travel insurance or ordering an assistance. By using GPS location the application shortens the time in which medical aid or road service reach a waiting customer.
