What is the KSeF?
The National System of e-Invoices (Krajowy System e-Faktur, KSeF) is a platform for issuing and sharing structured invoices. Initially, this system will operate in parallel to the current solutions, maintaining the option to issue paper invoices or submit electronic invoices other than structured ones. If the recipient of the invoice does not accept the receipt of a structured invoice, it may be sent to this entity in an agreed form. The system will therefore be voluntary for the issuer and the recipient of invoices.
Calendar of activities:
- From October to the end of December 2021, the Polish government conducted pilot work, in which Comarch S.A. also participated
- On January 1, 2022, KSeF became fully functional
- Mandatory use of the KSEF is to start at the beginning of 2023
