Comarch Certified as a PDP for e-Invoicing in France
Comarch has successfully achieved certification as a Registered Private Platform (PDP) for e-invoicing in France. The Comarch e-Invoicing platform is now fully equipped to support businesses during the 2025 pilot phase of mandatory e-invoicing, as well as the planned obligation deadlines in 2026 and 2027.
The Journey Towards PDP Certificate
This government certification follows Comarch’s diligent efforts, including our official application on October 13, 2023, under the "Facturation électronique" registration process. To become a registered PDP, Comarch ensured that our solution is capable of guaranteeing compliance, interoperability, authenticity, and security of invoice data. Additionally, our specialists participated in legislative workshops and the National Forum of e-Invoicing.
E-Invoicing and Data Reporting with a PDP
As a PDP, Comarch will facilitate e-invoicing by acting as an intermediary between suppliers and customers. With its certified platform, we ensure the secure transfer of invoices in a fully dematerialized format while also managing key data extraction, such as supplier and recipient details, transaction values, and VAT information. This data will be shared with the French tax authorities, ensuring compliance with mandatory e-invoicing regulations.
Comarch’s PDP responsibilities include:
- Submitting e-invoices and tracking their lifecycle statuses to the Public Invoicing Portal (PPF).
- Forwarding e-invoices to the buyer’s PDP and reporting necessary data to the PPF when the buyer also utilizes a PDP.
- Converting e-invoices into standardized formats like Factur-X, UN/CEFACT CII, and UBL 2.1 to meet European Union regulations.
The Benefits of Using a PDP for Multinational Companies
For multinational companies, partnering with a certified Private Dematerialization Platform like Comarch e-Invoicing offers many benefits:
- Regulatory Compliance: A PDP ensures businesses meet local e-invoicing regulations, minimizing the risk of costly non-compliance penalties.
- Operational Efficiency: By automating the invoicing process, a PDP reduces manual tasks and the potential for errors, streamlining operations.
- Data Security: PDPs offer advanced security features to safeguard sensitive financial information, providing peace of mind in transactions.
- Interoperability: A PDP enables seamless integration with different business systems and compliance with international standards, ensuring smooth cross-border transactions and hassle-free global operations.
With its newly acquired PDP certification, Comarch is well-positioned to support businesses in e-invoicing in France and beyond. Comarch e-Invoicing ensures compliance with e-invoicing mandates in over 60 countries worldwide. By enhancing operational efficiency, protecting sensitive data, and simplifying invoicing processes, Comarch helps companies stay ahead of regulatory changes.
