Comarch - further expansion in the Middle East
Comarch has decided to continue the development of structures in the Middle East. The company has recognized the potential of the region and the significant increase in demand for specialized IT solutions.
Nowadays activities focus mainly on the telecommunications sector and have been extended to specialists in areas such as:
- CRM & Marketing of flagship products such as Comarch Loyalty Management, gamification and analytical platforms,
- Financial markets with products for banks, including an innovative solution to a multi-channel customer service platform (Comarch Smart Finance) which provides, inter alia, Internet banking and mobile or departmental services with CRM. This has built-in platform marketing, loyalty and data mining mechanisms. The banks of the region will benefit from the ability to match products to customer needs in real time, and more importantly, according to their needs and financial situation,
- Telemedicine focused around modern technology to improve the process of patient care and medical facilities.
Upcoming plans also apply to the opening of the Data Center and the creation of the first line support for clients in the region.
Since April 2004, our Comarch Office in Dubai has continuously served clients in the telecommunications industry in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Yemen and Iran. Currently, the activities focus on clients in the GCC region ( Gulf Cooperation Council consisting of the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait), Asia and Africa.
Comarch is also present on the Turkish market. Together with our partner company Bizofis, we have been providing services for electronic data interchange (EDI) since 2005. Comarch is now one of the main providers of EDI, delivering services to more than 1,000 entities (including Subway, Sony, Johnson & Johnson, Hayat Kimya, Korozo). In 2013, our EDI platform had successfully passed the certification process conducted by representatives of the Ministry of Finance, so we are one of the few service providers of e-invoicing in accordance with local conditions and regulations.
Bartosz Demczuk Business Unit Director from Comarch Middle East said: - Besides the region business potential, Dubai has a perfect location as hub from which you can fly directly to key customer around the globe.
Key information about the GCC region
Although having a relatively small population (42 million inhabitants), this market logs one of the world's largest consumption indices of luxury goods per citizen - taking into account the fact that average GDP per capita in the region is 33 thousand dollars it is not surprising. Not without significance is the structure of the society itself. Nearly 50 % of the population is under 25 years of age. United Arab Emirates are second only to the Netherlands, who, as a country have the highest ratio of using social media. In the near future this will have a crucial impact on the region, and in this context, the World Expo 2020 in Dubai and Qatar World Cup in 2022 are worthy of mention. Both events have already generated nearly 1200 projects on a global scale.
